Mia Brahe-Pedersen Champion Women's 100m - NACAC Under 23 Track and Field Championships 2023

Mia Brahe-Pedersen, a 17-year-old athlete for the United States who recently completed her junior year at Lake Oswego High in Oregon, won the women's 100-meter dash gold medal in a wind-legal 11.08 seconds at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under-23 Championships at the National Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica. Brahe-Pedersen eclipsed the meet record of 11.19 established in 2012 in Mexico by fellow American competitor Aurieyall Scott. Brahe-Pedersen also ran a wind-aided 11.01 in the prelims, faster than the wind-aided winning performance in 2019 in Mexico by fellow American athlete Teahna Daniels. More videos
