Mia Brahe-Pedersen, a junior at Lake Oswego High in Oregon, won the girls invitational 100-meter dash and 200 meters, along with taking third in the invitational 4x400-meter relay and earning eighth in the invitational 4x100-meter relay at the 55th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Brahe-Pedersen clocked a wind-legal 11.17 in the 100 to eclipse the 1998 meet record of 11.32 held by former Chino High star Angela Williams. Brahe-Pedersen achieved the No. 2 time in meet history in the 200 with her wind-legal 23.01 effort. She also contributed to the Lakers' clocking 3:50.27 in the invitational 4x400-meter relay, as well as helping Lake Oswego run 47.82 in the invitational 4x100-meter relay.
