U.S. Finalist In Women's 100 and 200 Meters Ready To Make College Choice By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Photo by Howard Lao Lake Oswego OR senior Mia Brahe-Pedersen said Monday she is all set to reveal her college choice. The 11-time national champion and one of fastest high school sprinters of all-time will post on @mbrahepedersen (Instagram) at 7 a.m. Pacific Time Friday. The NACAC U-23 gold medalist in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 relay visited five schools: Georgia, Texas, USC, Oregon and LSU. Brahe-Pedersen finished seventh at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships in the 100 meters and eighth in the 200 meters coming out of her junior year of high school. She's the first prep athlete to advance to both of those finals in the professional track era. She will enter her final indoor and outdoor high school seasons with PRs of 7.26 in the 60 meters (indoors), 11.00 in the 100 meters and 22.43 in the 200 meters.
